The music that is coming from the ground in the back. My back? The back yard? The back 40? What is behind us. Our ancestral music. The music of where we have come from. There is no such thing as “Background Music”, unless we redefine it in this way. The old way of saying this implies that the offering is somehow optional, or not really needed, or of less value, etc. Something to make us more comfortable and to avoid thinking too much in elevators. The power of music is amazing, even if it’s not a “performance”, our ancestors are listening even when we are alone, the trees hear us, the wood in the building hears us, and if your intent has a life serving focus, it changes the energy in a palpable way in the air we occupy. Just like the internationally renowned Japanese scientist Masaru Emoto shows how the influence of our thoughts, words and feelings on molecules of water and how this can positively impact the earth and our personal health, music is a powerful part of this kind of effort, and can create amazing change. There is something in the air. I can hear it, I am always listening for it. Are you paying attention?
